William D. Moore, Esq.

For more than four decades, William D. Moore has combined the practice of law with a lifetime of public service, community leadership, and advocacy for the institutions that strengthen Eastern Long Island. His legal career has been defined by practical problem-solving, thoughtful counsel, and a deep commitment to the communities he serves.

William has held numerous leadership positions in government and higher education. He served as an elected member of the Southold Town Board and as Deputy Town Supervisor, helping guide local government through important community initiatives and challenges. He also served on the Board of Trustees of Suffolk County Community College, including service as Chair of the Board, providing leadership to one of the region’s most important educational institutions.

During his tenure as Chair of the Suffolk County Community College Board of Trustees, Mr. Moore played a leading role in defending the College’s independence and protecting its accreditation. Working closely with counsel for the College, he helped develop the legal strategy and successfully persuaded the Board of Trustees to commence litigation against Suffolk County when efforts to exert excessive control over College operations threatened the institution’s autonomy and governance. The litigation was successful and helped preserve the integrity, independence, and accreditation standards essential to the College’s mission.

Mr. Moore has also been deeply involved in the life of his church and community. One of the most significant projects of his career was helping lead the consolidation of four local United Methodist congregations. Through careful planning, negotiation, and legal guidance, the process included the sale and repurposing of multiple church properties and culminated in the construction of a new church home that today serves a vibrant and growing congregation.

Patricia C. Moore, Esq.

Patricia Moore has more than 30 years of experience representing clients throughout the East End of Long Island. She is widely respected for her deep understanding of land use regulations, waterfront and development matters, and complex real estate transactions. Her experience as a former Riverhead Town Attorney provides valuable insight into local laws and permitting processes, helping buyers, sellers, and property owners navigate challenging regulatory issues with confidence.

Pat regularly assists clients with zoning, subdivision, wetland, and development approvals, and works closely with a trusted network of professionals—including engineers, environmental consultants, and land surveyors—to assemble the strongest possible applications and achieve the best outcomes for her clients.

In addition to her land use and real estate practice, Pat has extensive experience in estate planning and estate administration. She has also served as a Surrogate's Court Referee, bringing additional depth and perspective to trusts and estates matters.

Born in Argentina, Pat is fluent in Spanish and has long been committed to serving the North Fork community. Throughout her career, she has been a trusted resource and advocate for many members of the area's Spanish-speaking community.

  • Betsy Perkins

    PARALEGAL

    Betsy brings more than 30 years of experience supporting attorneys, with a focus on real estate transactions and municipal records research. She particularly enjoys guiding clients through real estate matters, noting that there is “a beginning, a middle, and an end” to every transaction—a process she finds both rewarding and fulfilling.

    Having spent her career at small law firms, Betsy values the opportunity to work closely with both attorneys and clients, building strong relationships and providing personalized support throughout each matter. She appreciates that the firm’s flexible, remote work environment allows her to remain close to her children and grandson while continuing to do the work she loves.

    Outside the office, Betsy enjoys spending time at the beach, playing pickleball, and exploring the area by bicycle.

    PARALEGAL

    Madison joined the firm in 2024, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the legal field. She has a strong background in client service, legal administration, and transactional matters. Madison earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in Criminal Justice, as well as an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. She is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

    Madison’s professional interests include estate planning, trusts and wills, and real estate law. She is passionate about helping clients navigate important life and business decisions with clarity and confidence. With aspirations of becoming a transactional attorney, Madison is committed to providing practical, detail-oriented legal solutions and continuing to expand her knowledge across various areas of transactional law.
